I have been painting for over 30 years and have developed
my own unique style and techniques. My paintings have
received awards and hung in local, regional and national juried art exhibitions.
Watercolor is my main focus, but I also do oils and mixed
media as a wonderful and diverse way to create my images.

Clear vibrant colors are part of the enjoyment of working
with transparent watercolors. Each painting is a personal
journey incorporating light, shapes, values and textures
to obtain a realistic illusion. Rich colors can be used
individually, blended with others to produce subtle
washes or the colors layered one over another to create new colors. These and other techniques are used when creating a new watercolor painting. My aim is to use any method that will help achieve the final image. Love of the watercolor medium and the process are the magic of watercolor.
